A contemporary Romanian artist, creative and passionate of symbols and stories. She paints from her home studio in Bucharest.

Jeanina is currently an art teacher at a private school, teaching children the basics of visual art: shape, proportion, volume, shadow and light. She graduates University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca.

Painting and practicing yoga for several years, she tries to find a simple way to associate symbols found in mythology and folklore for a visual that is easy to decipher for the modern human.

The artist always find support in decoding and bringing to life the symbols by using ”The Dictionary of Symbols” by Alain Gheerbrant and Jean Chevalier. This book is always present in her art studio.

Her compositions revel symbols and stories based on dreams, signs of life, and memories, transferred on canvas in her decorative way with great attention to details.
